Kevin Woodcock is the ICT lead at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, where he provides both operational and strategic leadership for the council’s technology services. He is responsible for core ICT functions including infrastructure, security, and systems delivery, ensuring that services are resilient, secure, and reliable, while driving continuous service improvement and efficiency through the effective use of technology.

He has led the development and implementation of the Council’s AI policy and AI Strategy, alongside the delivery of practical AI solutions that support service improvement and organisational efficiency. His focus has been on turning strategy into implementation, ensuring AI is adopted safely, ethically, and in ways that deliver measurable benefits for residents, communities, and frontline services.
